I had all these big plans for today. Good plans, which including them making their own birthday cakes, because they've been dying to learn to cook. All he's been able to do today is sleep. Poor little guy.

Sounds like the celebration will be drawn out until Boy Child feels good enough to cook! And spreading out birthday celebrations can never be a bad thing. Hope he feels better soon. Maybe teach Girl Child how to make soup?
