You'd pay $1.99 to be me!

In addition to being overweight, unattractive, and the lone financial support of my family?

I have a huge purple knot on my forehead! Rock!

Why do I have a huge purple knot on my forehead?

Because I closed the trunk of my SUV onto my OWN HEAD.

NO. I AM NOT KIDDING.

I might have to go to the hospital if I get any cooler! For reals!

I know life is being a bitch right now, and I just wanted to say that it WILL get better! I just went through that about a month or so ago, and things are looking up now. (Kinda)

And? I would pay to be you and have your talent just for one day! But, I would pay more to be able to meet you and be able to call you my friend! Smiles!!!

That is hilarious, like falling up the stairs (and I do that regularly). I am sorry that you are having a bad time right now but I know in my heart things will get better. (((BIG HUGS)))

Things just suck sometimes, and unfortunatly it always seems to come all at once. Hopefully the universe is done heaping crap on you for now and will give you the break you deserve soon. *hugs*

This one really did deserve a photo!

I hate life is sucking so bad for you right now. Hubby and I both went through this situation a few years ago and I know how hard it is. Hubby moved on quickly to something better and I'll be hoping Jason does, too.

I, on the other hand, moved on the the best job EVER - taking care of my Punkin full time. We are poor as hell now, but it really is the best job ever.

We may be passing through your way in March. Lunch with me and Punkin?

Funny thing is, I have done the same thing, only I did it right before I had to give a speech for my public speaking class.

Ooooow! Dang that sucks. It never fails, for me when I'm having a bad week (life) I inevitably will bite the crap out of my tongue or cheek and make it bleed--or I'll fall somewhere in public.

It's like youre getting kicked when you are down, isn't it?

Sending moral support and sympathy.

You know what? Could have been worse. You could have backed your husbands Jeep Cherokee into the side of the garage and cost him $1K worth of damage. Not that I've done that....or speak from experience....

Chin up lady, troubles come in bouts of 3's. About 10 years ago, I was dumped one week before I was laid off, and then the following week my car tire blew out and the week after that, my modem died. Funny thing was the only one of those events that traumatized me was my modem dying....

I've done that. Not with an SUV but with a kitchen cabinet. Opened it slam in my own face.

We are just two happening chicks.

Pictures! Pictures! Pictures!

How can you tell us about this awesome bruise and not show us?

How?

Come on, you know you want to.

well done.

I poured hot tea all over myself yesterday so don't worry, you aren't the only super cool one around!

I did that with my station wagon. So hard that I literally -fell- -over-.

You're not alone Chick, you're not alone.

I've done that too. Only it was my measly little sports car (if you can call a souped up four cylinder a sports car) hatch back. Hurt like a you-know-what!

(BTW- My friends beat me up when I say I'm unattractive, so you don't get to do it either.)

My prescription? Hug the dog. It always helps me when I've done something that makes me feel stupid :)

Girl, if you only knew the number of knots my head has developed over the year....

Anonymous said...

Oh no! I've also come close to this type of thing. You gotta move it or lose it before you slam! Feel better.

Hope your run of bad luck ends today! Oy, sounds like it was sore.

Anonymous said...

If it makes you feel any better, I once slammed my head in a car door. Hope your luck turns!

So so been there & done that. Don't feel your klutzy is all alone in the world.

It's possible that I've done this before.

I'm not sure, my brain doesn't work so good somedays.

Tricia said...

I did the same thing one time. Mine was the back of my head, though. Damn those doors.

Please take care of yourself!

I know that hurt. I hope you are feeling better soon. I have done all of the above and I usually whack my knee on my desk drawer because I can never seem to get it closed all the way...makes for lovely bruises!

When life gets me down I keep my two favorite mantras in mind:
1. Suck it up Cupcake.
2. Time to put on my Big Girl panties.
Never fails to make me smile and reminds me that I might be a sarcastic ass but I am a strong woman! It will get better.

Hope things are lookin' up for you soon! I can relate...I dropped a flower pot on my foot and broke it...

bichonpawz said...

Oh! I should have said, I broke my foot - NOT the flower pot!

Oh I so suck. I don't make it to too many blogs, if any, on the weekend. Sorry about the job, the knot and all. But your kitchen cabinet looks really nice. And holy hannah, do you ever have a lot of canned fruit!

Joy T. said...

See now for most people, and by most people I mean me, this would be the straw that broke the camel's back and they'd go all postal or something. But not you. And that's what makes you so cool! Yes you can still be cool with a huge purple knot on your forehead.

awww shit. i'm sorry.
