What have you done today to make you feel proud?

Tuesday was a pretty much banner day in my world. You know why?

The Biggest Loser is back!

I know. I'm lame. It really doesn't take much to rock my whole world.

Okay, five minutes into the show, I'm crying. Seriously. Boy Child is like, "Mom? Why are you crying?" and I had to admit I have NO IDEA. They play this sappy-ass music and you just want these people to succeed SO MUCH and it just makes you cry.

Okay, it makes me cry.

So then Bob comes on the screen and I start SHRIEKING LIKE A GIRL. He goes to surprise the first couple and Boy Child says, "Mom? Why is that lady screaming like that?" and I said, and this is a direct quote,

"Son, if Bob Harper came up to me like that? I would absolutely lose my shit."

I seriously would. I LOVE BOB HARPER. And not just because he's oh-so-fine to look at. Good Lord. I just want to hug him and be his bff and let him whip my fat-ass into shape.

Now don't get me wrong. The show, for me, is pure entertainment. I'm vaguely disturbed by a program in which someone cries when they lose 9lbs in a week because it wasn't enough. I have been losing about 6lbs in a MONTH. I would give my one remaining ovary to lose nine pounds in a week. Okay, it's a piece of crap and doesn't work, but still. Nine pounds!

So, I know it's a competition. It's not reality for most people. But it's still fun to watch.

And along the weight-loss theme, if you haven't already entered my super-fantastical
Weight Watchers give-away, never fear. There is still time! Enter before Midnight EST tonight and I'll draw a winner tomorrow. And sorry, the drawing will be totally random and out of my control. So I can't cheat or anything.
Not that I would do anything like that. I totally wouldn't. I take my fat-ass and the losing of it very seriously, and I know you all do too.

Shucky shoot! I totally forgot about this! I hate missing my weekly dose of Bob!!

I'd much rather work out with him. Jillian might whip my fat ass into shape but Bob wouldn't make me cry while doing it. He's like a Zen master. : )

I went to the Weight Watchers site to see what it's about and you may have said this before but I can't find it...... are you using the flex plan or the core plan? Just wondering which would be best when I win! If my name doesn't appear in the magic hat I'm thinking it might be cheaper to join rather than throwing my shrinking wardrobe away.

I cried too...mainly with the couple that has the autistic child. It hit very close to home.

I was disappointed that only ONE of the women on the show was fatter than me. Heba. So she has my support this season. :)

BTW, I've been meaning to tell you about SparkPeople.com -- if you don't use the site already, it is the most awesome weight loss support I have found online. Check it out.

Now you know if you read my post that I cried for at least 15 minutes. I LOVE-CUBED that show. Bob Harper - dreamy Bob - though he plays for the other team I hear - is welcome in my house any day! I would lose my shit too. OMG. Tops on my list of who I want to meet, next to Jillian!

Yeah, so, my insane ass just joined a Biggest Loser competition at my gym. Five people, six weeks, most weight percentage lost wins 5K.

I? WILL KICK ITS ASS!

I'm running a contest on my blog to pick the name of my team. Winner gets 25$ to Starbucks. Go vote. You're funny and can win!

I've never watched it but man they have to work totally hard for 9 lbs. I gotta give them (and you) credit...I sure in the hell would't work that hard!

I forgot about it too - dang! That show always makes me cry too. And it gets me all inspired and good stuff like that. And hey, six pounds in a month rocks! It's taken me a year to lose three.

I'm in love with that show. And I would totally build Bob an addition on my house if he would be my personal trainer...

The first few seasons I was not into it, but i'm totally in love with it now. Like you I don't agree with the amount they try to lose each week. It's unrealistic and unhealthy honestly--at least for those of us doing it here in the real world. But damn, I would love to have Bob whip me into shape too.

When I was watching it, my husband said he didn't know if he could take another season of the show. Last year was the first year he watched some of it with me and the emotional stuff really wore on him.

I have it saved on the DVR but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I love Bob Harper too! Did you know that he's a Tennessee boy? Born and raised in Clarksville.

I'm grumpy.. I didn't realize it had started so I missed it. It they'd just keep the title the same my DVR would have automatically grabbed it, but the software isn't smart enough to go with the different titles.

And now I am being all sad that I missed out on the Chick Contest here, and that I don't watch "The Biggest Loser" and that I don't have the courage to use "shit" in front of my kids, like I do the second they go to bed.

You live it, baby.

And, pulllease? Six pounds a month? That is KILLER good.
