I have no interest in seeing the Twilight movie. Nor have I read any of the books.
Please go on about your lives now.
Thank you.

Proving that a fat chick can, and sometimes does, marry a really hot guy. Since 2003.

Me neither!!!! I do NOT get all the excitement!
JOIN THE CLUB! WOO HOO! SAME HERE!
I have no idea what it's about. I'm guessing Vampires. Cuz..you know..she called that dude a vampire on the tv trailer. But if she hadn't had said vampire..I would've thought he was some goth superman..
Ahh well, I guess I'm joining the club too!
I work at a high school. I had to read the books to understand all the fuss. And then I had a strong political reaction to the books (OMG! fancy that the Mormon author's politics don't agree with mine!) and refuse to take part in any discussion about them ever again. The movie is dead to me.
I'm with you. My 14 year old niece told me that she doesn't think the books are particularly well-written, but she loves the vampire guy. Heh.
I hate the heroine, I hate the hero, I hate the whole damsel-in-distress thing, I threw each book across the room in disgust several times . . . but I devoured them. I hate myself for liking the Twilight series, but I do.
Edward and Bella are both less hate-able in the movie, though. I have to say.
Twilight SUCKS. Anne Rice & the Vampire Chronicles RULE!!
They were the originals.
The whole Twilight series are just cheap ass posers.
I'm done.
Thank you.
I haven't heard anything good about the movie, but I do admit that I will add it to my blockbuster list coz the guy is really cute. Is it wrong for me to have a girly crush on a guy half my age?
I'm so old now :(
Aw, obsessed Twilighter here...give it a chance. It's the best!
Amen. Why in the hell would I want to read about sex-crazed (but mormonly starved) teenaged vampires.
WOO HOO that makes two of us. And I SERIOUSLY don't the guy that is playing the lead is attractive in the least!
You are DEAD to me. DEAD.
signed, a Twilight fan.
(seriously, I love you. but those books ROCK. the movie? I've not seen it and doubt I will. The books are ALWAYS better IMHO.)
Thank you!
LMAO @ CPA Mom, I have only recently heard of it and like you, I have no desire to see or hear about it.
I'm with you on both counts.
Here's a shocker: I'm a Mormon who HATED that book; worst book I ever read. I was practically shunned for mentioning that once at a play group. Glad to know that outside of this place, I'm not a weirdy for hating that book. =)
I didn't know that the author was a Mormon. It still wouldn't make me want to read it.
Amen, sister.
I saw the movie and it sucked!
I knew you were alot like me!!
I actually enjoyed the books and the movie was actually pretty good.... it actually followed along with the first book so that is a good thing... sometimes they never follow and it makes it suck but this was actually good...
I started reading it out of curiousity, but didn't find it very well-written. I found it awkward and unbelievable. It reads like it was written by a teenager (which is fine, I guess, as that is the target audience).
I guess I'm just too old to get the whole goth/death/skull fashion thing.
I had never heard of the movie, or read the books... I got dragged by my boyfriend, who got dragged by his roommate, who got dragged by their other roommate to go see it.
It was so cheesy. But hilarious! It was bad, really... but still hilarious. I was entertained.
I confess. I saw the movie and loved it too!
