Tommorrow!

Tomorrow I will be on Star 102.1 with the delightful Frank Murphy to talk about my book. And probably crap like love and stuff since it's so close to Valentine's Day.

(And, eerily enough, it will be Friday the 13th. Which is awesome and more closely resembles the dating experiences in my book)

You, yes you, can listen live if you so desire. Just go here and click to listen at 8:15am (EST).

The morning show hosts (Marc and Kim and Frank) are all awesome, so it should be a fun show.

I wonder if I can say crap on the radio? If not, I might have to work on that. What do you say instead of crap? That's not worse?

Just wanted to tell you that I've been reading your blog for a few weeks now and I love it more every day! I read the "Badge Lady" story to my husband last night and we were both convulsing with laughter. Then, right after that, I ordered your book from Amazon! I can't wait to read it!

Stuff, mess or junk, as in "... and all that stuff" or "don't try to pull that junk with me!"

Crap was a bad word in my house, now it's a "naughty word" with my kids - so that's what I use.

If I'm feeling particularly angry I'll say, "That's a load of bull."

mom of 4 kids (2 of which are adopted special needs teens who've heard much worse and will use it if allowed to get back into the habit).

I usually say mess. But, dude, you can totally say crap on the radio...I think. And, if you can't they have that whole delay thing.

i was going to say 'stuff' 'bull' 'junk' but other people already said that. you could say 'its getting pretty deep in here' or i'm going to need my waders to get through all that muck.. or just say 'i dont think so' or something like that..

My husband proposed to me over the radio here in Los Angeles. Most brides would squeal and scream "YES!!!!", right?

Not me.

I screamed, 'OH FUCKKKKKKK NO!' Not as in "no I won't marry you" but more "I can't believe you're proposing.

Since it was a love-themed show there was no delay. Hence I was not bleeped. I'm lucky the FCC didn't impose a fine on the poor DJ's!!

And you can totally say CRAP on the radio.

I say "junk" instead. :)

oh, MAN! sorry, my computer cut me off! Anyway, as I was saying...

I say Junk instead of crap. Like, i'll get mad or do something wrong and you'll hear, "JUNK!" instead of darn, or whatever.

I also use it to refer to something crappy...like "I have all this stupid junk to do" or whatever.

Girl--you just finished on the radio. I have never been more proud of you! You did an awesome job. I'm sure this is going to ratchet up local hits on your blog.

Great job, my friend!!
