Anyone else watching this? Know anything about it?
I almost lost it when I heard that the parents of the girl spent their thirtieth wedding anniversary in a courtroom. Having to hear, again, the details of their daughter's murder.
It's so just beyond horrifying. I can barely stand it.

i'd heard nothing about it over here but reading what little i did is just....awful. and then to spend their anniversary reliving the hell of their daughter's last moments? unbelieveable.

Oh God yes. Can't stop thinking about it. Can't stop being pissed off and sad about it. I hadn't previously heard the bit about the fingerprint (read that yesterday). How does her family not go INSANE thinking that if someone had JUST caught that print and followed up, her life and SOME of the ordeal she went through might have been spared? It makes me so sick inside and I didn't even KNOW them. Just horrible.
I didn't read the whole bit but it sounds like Letalvis (really???) has already been convicted? Is this right? If so, I think rather than wasting time asking a bunch of holy rollers about the death penalty they need to just take him out back and torture him for a couple of hours, then hang him. Those poor kids.
I haven't been following the story but man, how sad. And horrific. That poor family...
Unbelievable. Asking myself: Why does our system work like this? How do the defense attorneys make this OK? How are these murderers capable of such evil? How do these parents cope? So many questions and no answers.
