The Boy Child? Is now girlfriendless.
The worst part? The pissy little wench...um...I mean, certainly lovely young lady didn't even tell him herself. She told his sister and apparently said,
"I don't know how to tell him this! I don't want to break his heart!"
Girl Child told Boy Child. He said, "Okay."
He then ran over to the former girlfriend and before she could say anything he said, "I know!" and then ran off.
I asked him, "Boy Child, is your heart broken?"
Then we all laughed hysterically.
So, um. Boy Child isn't exactly heartbroken.
He said to me, "You had lots of boyfriends, didn't you?"
I told him, "Yes! I had lots of boyfriends! And you will too!"
So he said, "Um. Mom. I want girlfriends. Not boyfriends."
Then we all laughed hysterically again.
I think he'll be fine.

What a great kid. I love the lack of drama/trauma in all that.
Is it wrong that I think it is GREAT that he ran over to tell her off and didn't let her get a word in edgewise? LOL!
