First day of 6th grade!

Let the record show that I did NOT choose the shirts they are wearing.

Still. It's going to be a great year!

(Also? Can I just say that I hope they always love each other this much? Because this? Is sweet.)

Wow. I am struggling to reconcile these gorgeous middle schoolers with the adorable little munchkins you had when we first met. What a big day for them! I really hope it goes well!

Love the pictures, and the love they have for each other. I also really enjoyed yesterday's post. I will be using that in a few years with my own daughter.

So cute! I can feel the love between the two of them, they wear it on their faces for sure!

What a big day for them, and for you. I think I could totally shed that tear for you right now...

Congrats!

Middle school is scary - for parents moreso than the kids I think!

My daughter will be in 6th grade too (she starts on Monday) but where we live 5th grade starts middle school.

Congrats on beautiful kids who obviously love each other!

The shirts ARE hilarious. And I hope my girls keep loving each other like that too, because then, no matter what is going on in life, something REALLY important is going really right.

I just want to, alternately, be their best friends and give them straight A's. So I think they'll be just fine.

Sweet! My kids have a dress code, plain crew necks or polos with no writing!

They will!

Other than a brief period in high school where we were competing for resources (phone, car), we've always gotten along great! As a matter of fact, we shared an apartment for about a year and a half and he was the best roommate I had!

So precious. Congratulations on the mile stone of middle school!!! Also, you and I have the exact same front door. LOL. I have no idea why I feel the need to point that out.

Cod MIDDLE SCHOOL? Steph that's just....incredible. They were BABIES 800 years ago these cute little tiny people just barely in school not freaking lockers and shanking and groin kicking yet.

You've done such a fabulous job with them.

Even if their taste in shirts is so very very not what a mom would choose for first day of school (cod I remember going ot sleep with sponge rollers and horrible coordinated big side bows and patent leather white flats wow)
