The tipping point

This morning? I woke up in a cold sweat. An absolute panic.

Because I couldn't remember if I posted yesterday.

No. I'm not kidding.

I read somewhere recently that people who are serious bloggers eventually stop blogging because they want to. Somehow it crosses the line and becomes something they need to do. Like they carry notepads with them to jot down ideas and think about it all the time and probably wake up in a panic because they can't remember if they posted yesterday.

I'm so screwed y'all.

Hey, there are times that *I* wake up in a cold sweat because YOU may have blogged, and I haven't read it yet! :)

Heck, I just wake up in a cold sweat wondering if I made a total ass of myself, and if that's why no one will comment on the post. Or if it's just cause my blog sucks.

See, you don't need to worry. If you can't remember, just get up and post again. We won't mind, really. ;)

That's the main reason I'm posting part time now - I really freaked myself out.

LOL I used to do this, since I started up 365 again I'll probably be doing this again soon.

Although I'm by no means a serious blogger...throughout the day I often think..oh this would make for a good post! But then? I forget..so the sticky note thing is a good idea!!

Just to let you know, we all enjoy your blog immensely, but we don't want it to be a cause of stress for you. Just take it easy, and give us whatever you feel like. It doesn't have to be every day, does it?
But, you are appreciated!

Yeah, I definitely am not a professional blogger, but I don't get that panic.

Nope, just guilt. All encompassing guilt.

I feel guilty when I don't blog and read other's blogs, so then I avoid the source of my guilt which results in making me not blog for another day and then I get more guilty and on and on. Rinse lather repeat.

And this is why I blogged once last week and have spent six hours today blogging, commenting, and blogging some more.

It's a very bi-polar blogging syndrome which I am sure other people have.

That is part of the reason I have cut back lately. I constantly looked at everything as something to blog and wasn't really paying attention to what was going on around me.

I get the same way sometimes. I have plenty to blog about, but when I finally have time to sit down and do it, I blank out! Then, I feel bad because I haven't put up a post in a week!

Man, I feel you on this! I was getting bad with the pressure that I was putting on myself to post every single day and then I just stopped.

But then again the sun came out and the weather turned nice and well - outside we went! And well, I've just been too busy.

Please don't ever quit blogging! We need you!
