I couldn't make this up if I tried.

I got another rejection letter today. I'm already bummed and I probably shouldn't have opened the email. I knew it wouldn't be good news.

Jason, in his typical cheery manner said,

"Don't worry you still have your blog. Jason. What the Hell."

HE WAS TOTALLY SERIOUS.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

But he tries. He really does! And that's what makes him so endearing. :) I'm sorry about the rejection letter. That really blows. Offer still stands if you want to relocate to St. Louis!

Sorry about the rejection letter but at least you got a good laugh.

Gotta say, getting published isn't about writing the perfect book. It's about writing the right book, and catching the person at the right publishing company on the right day. So many variables, and the quality of your work is only one. I know you know that already, you're pretty dang smart, but I thought a reminder might be good.

Maybe if you just said to him, "Jason. For the Love of God!" several times a day for a year he'd get it.

He's so hilarious though.

Yeah. . .but some days, isn't that the subtitle? If you *really* think about it? (ha!)

Don't give up.
Don't give up.
Don't give up.
Don't give up.

He has to keep giving you material, insuring the title to your blog stays relavent.

Maybe it's a sign you should change the name of your blog. But then he'd probably start calling it the name it is now.

That stinks. The rejection letter. I hope Jason made you smile with his comment, at least in retrospect.

I loathe rejection letters. They are supposed to get easier, but they really haven't for me yet... I mean, i don't contemplate suicide after I receive one, but I don't laugh and break out into Cinderella styled song either.

But that's funny... Did you correct him?

LMMFAO! He's too funny. I think maybe he does that on purpose. :)

Sorry 'bout the rejection letter. Want me to rough somebody up? I know some Italians...
