An unexpected benefit!

When you write a book about your life? People in your life get a bit nervous.

No lie, I had a ridiculously large number of people call me, upon hearing about my book to ask, "Um...is there anything about me in this book?"

The answer, every time, was no.

And if the majority of people asked me the same thing this time? The answer would still be the same.

However, it seems that other people have realized that, OH HOLY CRAP, the time period of my life that I'm currently writing about could maybe, potentially have something to do with them.

And some of them? Seem to be a little scared. Because they are being really, really nice when they had previously been really, really un-nice.

Now my writing is generally...careful. I think that's a nice way to put it. Careful.

Still. I'm enjoying the benefits of other's fears.

Hell is not safe from me. Not yet.

So, a life lesson can be learned here, be nice to EVERYONE cause you never know who is going to write a book!

Loved your first book, cannot wait for the next! I still cannot come to terms with having to like NASCAR to find a man but who knows maybe one day!

Enjoy your day.

Dang. I've got to write me some non-fiction so I can have that kind of fun. Hee hee.

It's interesting to see what other people see of themselves in your writing.

I thought I was being careful on my blog and I caught hell from the landlord, even though they are never mentioned and only referred out my deepest frustrations. Guess it's a good thing I never posted photos of their children :)
