I have no life! Here's proof!

A few weeks ago? I had a birthday party.

For my dog.

First, I got her a cake at Kroger:

I let Boy Child hold the cake plate. I'm no fool.

Yeah, it was gone in about 12 seconds.

And she was all like, "THANKS MOM!" Probably? She burped.

Last night I was holding the dog and Jason commented that she has dry skin. I said, "Yes! Because she's MY dog!"
He looked skeptical, so I quickly explained, "She has hair like me! Curly and unruly! She has dry skin like me!"
At that moment, Ginger burped so loudly that the people three houses over went, "What the hell?"
And I said, immediately, "See! She takes after you too!"
It was a great evening.

Why not? Dogs are part of the family, aren't they? Looks like she enjoyed it too.

This post is FUUUUUNNNNNY!!

But, I'm not sure what's funnier...the cake for the dog, the dry skin comment or the burping thing.

HA!

Okay, so for Christmas our dogs received gifts from multiple family members. Doggy birthday party seems quite normal.

I'm so glad you each gave chromosomes to the puppy. My fur-child's birthday is next month.

So totally something I would do! I bought gifts for our puppies, gifts.. also spending lots of time looking online for new puppy things because WAlhell totally sucks here and we have no petshops otherwise. My baby doggie needs stuff!

Hey, over here at the "exotic" Target at TC. . they have dog clothes on sale. If I'd have known, I'd have gotten Ginger a new sweater.

Awww! I love my doggies so much! But when they eat cake I end up cleaning doggy diarrea (I can't spell it-but you know what I mean-RUNNY CRAP) off the laundry room floor.

To this day my husband will not eat at my parents house cuz they let their dog eat off the plates. And picking dog hair out of various home-made meals is standard fare there. I never knew other people thought it odd...
