He likes big butts. He cannot lie.

Chick to Jason, excitedly: The internet agrees that you were right!

Jason looking confused and perplexed: Excuse me?

Chick, still excited: The internet! They say that you are right about your work situation and your work is wrong.

Jason, silent, mulling.

Chick: Also? They say the following, "Is the supervisor shagging her?", "Is it his baby or something?" and "Jason needs a new job!"

Jason: So the entire internet agrees? Bill Gates and everyone says that you are correct?

Chick: Well, all the important people agree.

Jason: Hmph.

Chick: All the people I like and care about, anyway.

Jason: It really is your world isn't it?

Chick: I just let you live in it, babe.

The husbands--they just don't quite get it do they? I know, mine has rolled his eyes over the blog too many times to count. But at the same time, after three years of blogging he has also reached the point where something happens and he says--YOU HAVE TO BLOG THAT.

My favorite part of that conversation? The last two lines. LOL

That conversation makes it sound like the whole thing has blown over and become less of a concern, but in case it flares up again.. google

bring infant to work policy liability

brings up about 1,400,000 hits, but the first one had this to say on the policy one office set up..

Parent provides equipment and supplies. Both parents sign a legal agreement releasing the company from liability. Either party may end the agreement with three days notice in case a baby becomes disruptive. Parent goes on slightly reduced pay schedule to compensate for time spent with child.

The last one alone might cause her to stop talking about it.

::hee:: I have been reading, but not commenting. Not because I disagree, but because I have been swamped -- both personally and at work.

Jason works with some really "loo-loos" doesn't he?

Catching up on blogs and this story is amazing. If I were Jason I'd be questioning why his boss is listening to this woman so much. Seems a bit biased to me. I hope if anything more comes of it Jason goes to a higher source. One who will listen to reason on the situation.

LMAO! Of course we are the WHOLE internet :)

Yeah for us internet type people. I'm sure Bill Gates is a regular reader and agrees whole-heartedly as well. He just preferes to lurk and not blow us all away with his supreme Gates-osity. :)
