Attention all Internets: Please pray.

Or light a candle or say a hail Mary or whatever it is you do, okay?

Because today? Jason should hear about an interview which he had which sounds promising.

I wasn't really going to advertise this, but frankly? We can use all the help we can get.

Oh and also? Typically I don't respond to people who don't bother to leave their names or even a screen name, but even if my husband did have a job? I'm infertile. Even if my husband had like, twelve jobs, I still couldn't have a baby.

So thanks for being a douchehole.

Oh and also? I wasn't going to say anything about this either, but apparently I need to.

My husband has cleaned the entire house from top to bottom, even the windows, and reorganized every cabinet and closet.

He's done more laundry than I have.

He picks up the kids every single night.

He makes the kids lunches every single day.

Every night when I start cooking dinner he says, "Let me finish babe, you go sit down and relax," and finishes up every single meal.

And he is NOT ALLOWED to go to the grocery store. That's my chore and one I enjoy and he never saves as much money with coupons as I do. And since saving money with coupons is one of my hobbies, I'm not letting him have that.

I appreciate that y'all don't want me to get taken advantage of, but um, I know I have no power at work, but I certainly do here, in my own home.

So thanks. But it's all good.

And prayers, or whatever, are appreciated.

Do you really get that many negative comments? Do people have nothing better to do?

Good feelings your way.

hey, I'm praying for your hubbys job. Also praying for you :) My "in-law" (as we are not yet married but have a son) was infertile too. She tried to have babies for a long long time. She tried some infertile meds and EVENTUALLY she had my beau. Then she had 3 more, haha. Just thought I'd share with ya. ;)
Take care

You know, nobody spouts negative crap about stay at home moms, but if it's a stay at home dad, they're automatically lazy, no good, etc. What a load of garbage.

I'll be sending Jason the positive vibes. Best of luck!!!

I thought of you this morning. . . as the rain was POURING down. I know that sometimes on rainy days, you end up walking three miles - - uphill to work.

So, I hope this rainy Tuesday finds you well, and that Jason hears GOOD news about this interview.

I'm still praying. . . .A

I found your Blog through Scrivel and love it! Keep up the good work. I hope everything works out for your hubby with the job situation. But, sounds like he is more than doing his part to support the family at home. Don't let a moron that doesn't know you, or him, get you aggravated. That's just what they want to do; don't give them the satisfaction. I have you bookmarked so I'll keep reading as long as you keep writing.

To be clear, I don't think the majority of people are being morons or being mean or hateful. I think they just don't want me to be taken advantage of. I just wanted to make it clear that I am not.

Except for that one person who is a tool on a regular basis. She can bite my butt.

fingers crossed...

And crotch punches for all those jerks. Meh.

Love you.

I'm kinda new to this whole God and praying thing but I'll say a prayer for Jason and for you as well. : )

I seriously don't know how you do it. If I had all the stuff going on that you do, I'd be off my rocker by now and curled up in the fetal position with a straight jacket on, in a padded room.

Oh wait, I am already off my rocker. : )

I'm sending all kinds of good vibes your way today, girlie. Things'll work out - I just know it.

And you should ignore people who don't even have the balls to leave their name. The person OBVIOUSLY doesn't read your blog on a regular basis, but apparently felt the need to just leave a "drive by comment" that made absolutely no sense. Not even worth your time, quite frankly.

Prayers and whatever, coming your way.

So let me get this straight, people think your husband is taking advantage of you because he is at home right now? What kind of crap is that? I stay home, does that mean I'm taking advantage of my husband?

Your husband rocks.......

I hope you don't think I was being a bitch with my comment about Jason. After reading your blog for a while you seem to have the same flip, sarcastic tone that I do so I thought you would read it that way.

Also there are plenty of times I am overwhelmed and have to spell it out for my husband that I need help. And he actually helps a lot.

I stay at home and in one of my posts I talked about how I really don't see how women that work get everything done. I really don't. I can't get it all done and I'm home all day.

So I'm sorry if my comment came off wrong. I was not trying to attack Jason. I was being flip and I know the written word can be read many different ways.

You poor thing. I swear some people are idiots!!

I think its great the things Jason does for you while he is home. I think that he is an awesome husband.

Plus I know that no matter how qualified you are, its not always easy to just walk into a job as soon as another one closes.

im gonna email you about something

I hope that job comes through for him! That'll be great. And you know what? Jason is awesome. You already know that, I'm sure. But, when my husband was home? He never did those things. Never. I did them. :) I'm sorry the anonymous people are being such butts. Crossing my fingers for Jason to get a job! :)

So glad you have a good guy like Jason to go through this with.

p.s. I want him to start a blog about what he does to help out so that I can talk Neil into reading it. =P

Crossing my fingers for you.

And, may I compliment you on a fantabulous usage of the word, "douchehole." Just rolls off the tongue. I think I will use this one in traffic today. My asshats and dickferbrains were getting a bit stale. :)

Tarasview said...

I prayed. And if it makes you feel any better I had some real jerks comment on my blog ANONYMOUSLY as well. I deleted them and swore at them loudly ... in my head.... so that my five year old doesn't go to church this sunday *where my husband is the pastor* and say "my mom thinks you are a bitch" and such. That could get me in a lot of trouble. Doucheholes.

EEp - I hope he hears something positive from his interview. Fingers crossed over this side of the pond. We're in the same situation here, 'im indoors is being made redundant at the end of April and has been frantically looking for work. It isn't easy.

And... I was one of those awful people who suggested getting Jason to do some chores. It was none of my business really, and I do apologise.
