Me to Jason: So, since we're doing the Buddy Walk with good, Christian folks? We're totally going to have to act right.
Jason: Damn.
Me: EPIC FAIL.
Me to my friend Allison: It just sucks you know? Here I am, working my ass off to be healthy so I can raise money for these poor women who don't have medical insurance and can't afford medical care and I end up with a big breast lump!*
Allison: You should totally start raising money for prostate cancer instead.
Me to Ginger, while on a trail: Bitch, please. We don't have all day!
Dude on the trail running past us: BAHAHAHAAHAHA!
Good times everyone. Good times.
*I had a mammogram AND a breast ultrasound. I'm good. Thank God.

Glad everything is fine! What a relief. I just did a skin cancer screening this week & had four chunks removed for biopsy.
My friend Cass found a lump in her breast this week too but it was also okay. Her mother is a breast cancer survivor, so because of this ordeal, she is donating $9 for every comment she gets on this post. She started with $3 but her mom & husband offered to match it. As of now, she's up to 158. That's a lot of dough!
Maybe you can send some of your readers over there to help the cause?
Whew! I'm glad to hear you're ok.
it is funny around there!
Its not funny around here. You need an extra bloke in your house? Cause mine is in dire need of moving. lmao!!
I hope you are o.k.
Hugs xx
You made Mark and me laugh with the first four lines. : )
Then you scared me.
Then you relieved me.
Woman! What are you trying to do to me?
I had to scroll down (quick!) to find out if you were okay. Phew!
You totally had me at telling Ginger how the cow ate the cabbage, gf. lol
I really wish people weren't so hammered into fear by the conventional medical 'establishment', who are all about the money (big pharma behind 'em yáll)....please google the dangers of mammograms...and how they are not terribly accurate....please - for your own education. (If you want reliable sources, you're most welcome to email me)
Also? (clinically speaking here now...it's hard to take the hat off in circumstances like this)
If you get a lump in your breast - just monitor if it changes with the monthly cycle (or in your case, every time your period starts) before rushing off to the doctor, who invariably wants to issue lots of expensive testing............mammograms in particular are troublesome. Or, at the very least, find out how conservative your doctor is BEFORE agreeing to any invasive 'procedures' to 'check things out'.
There are risks with every procedure - including biopsies and mammograms. And biopsies....ugh, they're TERRIBLE **IF** it turns out someone has inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) because in cases of IBC, it can actually encourage the rate of growth! (just one example)
I advise everyone to do their homework. Don't leave your health in the hands of someone who is most likely motivated by a system that is motivated by the bottom line. They aren't always telling the truth, frankly...not when money is lining their pockets
I'll keep you in my prayers:).
God bless!!

Heya :) I have chosen you as one of my 7 people to give the 'I love your blog' award to! I won't give the link on here as it'll probably chuck me in with your spam so just visit my blog to see it!
Whew! You scared me there for a second.
Word to the funny!
You were supposed to post that last part in huge font, not that teeny tiny stuff!!!!! Glad to hear that you are good!
When did you have the mammogram/ultrasound? You didn't say a word when I had my mammogram earlier this month...Is it a benign cyst then? I had one of those removed back in '99.
So glad to hear everything is fine! I would have laughed uncontrollably if I had heard you say that to Ginger!
