What's on your playlist?

So I'm walking like, every single day y'all. And it's hard. Also? It REALLY cuts into my sitting around and doing nothing time.

I've been looking for new motivation. I like to listen to my little iPod while I walk and I need some new songs for my rotation.

Here is what I have now:

-Viva La Vida (Coldplay)
-Holler Back (The Lost Trailers)
-Whatever it Takes (Lifehouse)
-I kissed a girl (Katy Perry)
-Shut up and Let me Go (The Ting Tings)
-Rehab (Amy Winehouse)
-I'm Not Going to Teach your Boyfriend how to Dance with you (Black Kids)
-Be Without You (Mary J. Blige)
-Step by Step (New Kids on the Block. Shut up)
-In Love with a Girl (Gavin Degraw)
-Here it Goes Again (Ok Go)
-How Far We've Come (Matchbox Twenty)
-You Know I'm no Good (Amy Winehouse)
-Speed of Sound (Coldplay)
-Folsom Prison Blues (Johnny Cash)
-Walking After Midnight (Patsy Cline)

What pumps you up and keeps you going?

So What by Pink... (Just came out.. and I'm addicted)

Oh, and show tunes.. I always end up looking like an idiot jamming out on my bike when someone passes me and I'm all like "No I wasn't just "dancing on my bike, I, uhh, had a crick in my neck..."

Good list!

London Bridge (Fergie) is on mine and have you checked out the new NKOTB CD? There are a few on there that I think would be great walkign songs... but i'm too lazy to actually WALK to test them out... :D

I LOVE Viva La Vida, definitely my favorite. I also love Fall Out Boy, REM, and old school Michael Jackson.

I listen to a lot of techno/dance music and upbeat rock. Keeps my ass moving. I can't listen to slow stuff or I'll lie down and nap.

P.S. I sent out the DVD yesterday UPS. Should be there in a couple days.

I love Pat Benatar and Weezer when I'm working out.

I don't really know why.

That's one eclectic playlist :) I have different music for different moods, mostly when I'm driving. If I'm angry and want to drive fast (not that I do of course) it's Ramstein. If I'm melencholy, it's Cake. If I just feel like singing, I listin to the Buffy the Vampire Slayer soundtrack from the musical episode they did (which means I totally beat your New Kids for dorkiness) and so on....

Rihanna - Don't Stop The Music
Nina Sky - Move Ya Body
N.E.R.D. - She Wants To Move
Janet Jackson - Feedback
INXS - New Sensation
Mika - Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)
Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up

I have a bunch of really old songs on my MP3 player because I'm too cheap to download new music, so I just pulled from my old CDs. These are the songs I like when I'm in the beginning middle of my workout, not when I'm cooling down. Not that I'm, you know, particular about this in any way. Anyway, my favorite running songs are:

End of the World - REM
Just a Girl - No Doubt
Down - 311
Too Much - DMB
Sunday Morning - No Doubt
Breed - Nirvana
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Roller Coaster - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Aeroplane - RHCP
Survivor - Destiny's Child

That's all I can think of for now!

OR.

Beginning OR middle.

LOL.

"Shake" by Metro Station- This song always gives me a boost. And I have to agree with mean stepmom, for some reason I really like "When I Grow Up" by the Pussy Cat Dolls (maybe it's because I still want boobies) :)

I just heard about NKOTB coming back out again.

My dh loves Johnny Cash. He often sings, "Walk the Line" to me. I tell him to please stop because dh can NOT sing, but yeah, it's sweet.

NKOTB?? *snicker*
Sorry.
I like Kid Rock's lil summer anthem, whatever it's called.
Gunpowder and Lead by Miranda Lambert
and since Jerry Reed died, my blog now plays Eastbound and Down, The Bird, and She got the Gold Mine.
AND not to be forgotten, my favorite dance song lately..... Mika's - Big Girl (you are beautiful)
You GOTTA have that on your playlist. I play it on Youtube and I swear, even my honey dances around the kitchen. The whole family dances to that tune.
Here, see for yourself. If you don't get up and dance and shake your THANG, then there is something wrong with you! Or at least wiggle in your chair anyway

Lol, OMG, I just brought it up and my hubby jumped up and started dancing! There is no stopping it. Watch this whole video, it's BEAUTIFUL
