Yesterday? Bummer. Let's have some Stuff I love for August 5th, 2009!

1) My really kickass friends which I totally don't even deserve. (Even the ones who don't have websites so I can link to them) Seriously, I love my friends so much it's almost PAINFUL. I think I could say to them, "You know? I stabbed someone in the throat today" and they be all like, "Stephanie. They probably totally deserved it, BUT, let's figure out why you did it." I. Love. My. Friends. I am so blessed.

2)I have on a skirt today. That, in itself, is pretty much unheard of. The skirt? Is a size smaller than I have been wearing. AND my co-worker pointed out that I have room to move in it. Holy. Crap.

3) A girl at the gym last night said, "Oh my God! Look how baggy your pants are!". And I'm fairly certain it wasn't because she was afraid they were going to fall off my butt which would in turn force her to see my underwear. She was happy for me.

4)I am pretty much in love with Kelly Clarkson. Every morning on the way to work I blast I Do Not Hook Up and sing at the top of my lungs. I also dance, a lot. And since I get to work at 6am now and no one is on the road to witness my lunacy? I don't feel bad about it at all.

5) Postcards from Yo Momma. I laughed so hard I think I sprained something.

6) My co-worker has on these shoes:

If I didn't love her so much I would knock her down and steal them because they are so. freaking. cute.

7) I found this picture of my puppy which was taken a few days after she came to live in our home:

Seriously. I think I might ovulate.

Okay then. I damn near died from the sheer cuteness of the shoes and the puppy :)

Listen to JUST DANCE by Lady Gaga. Seriously awesome. My kids and I dance to it.

Your last sentence reminded me of what a friend used to say: "the baby was so cute it made my uterus hurt."

And I LOVE singing at the top of my lungs in the car. Sometimes I even do it with my windows rolled down. Whoops.

1) OMG, Ginger looks so precious, I take it she didn't look at the camera when she was a puppy either? LOL

2) Those shoes are awesome!

3) You rock, I'm so happy for you. You must be so proud of yourself for all the weight you've lost. Amazing!

Those shoes are darling! And so is the puppy! And the proximity of the two photos brings to my mind an image of said puppy chewing said shoe with relish and delight!

still singing Kelly Clarkson over here... thanks again :P

Those shoes and Ginger, wow. Love both pictures. Course, I'd be dead in a heap if I tried walking in the shoes, but hey. I can still think they're cute.

And y'know, you have great friends because you're a great person who deserves only the best.

Thank you for introducing yet more blogs to my favorites list, which I don't have time to keep up with as it is! I have to read yours every day I can make time to sit down, but sometimes the others have to wait. I hope I'm as funny as Yo Momma's Momma when I get older! (Even if it is unintentional...)

Lisa
ps dont link to my blog my boyfriend must never see it since it is letters to him that I MAY let him view on our wedding day 100 years in the future....

I heartily agree. It all made me ovulate, too. Especially the puppy. But don't tell Ty-man. If he knows a puppy made me ovulate and he didn't? There might be a smack-down.

That's a cute puppy. It's what my husband calls a German Shepherd-type dog. He classifies any dog that is brown in color and is not a poodle or a collie or a pekinese or a shitzu or a cocker spaniel a G.S.T.D. I don't know why. He's a smart guy otherwise.
Those are cut e shoes but golly aren't they a little high to wear to work? I work at a law firm and we all wear very low, comfortable shoes so we can run away and hide if any work appears to be in the offing. My secretary came in one day in flip flops. I had to tell her they weren't appropriate office wear. Boy was she mad. I suspect she'll poison my coffee or get revenge in some subtle but horrible way.
