I like to get cute labels for my Christmas cards. I always order them from Family Labels. You can put the "faces" of your family on the label. It's actually little cartoon faces, but you can give them the features of the people in your family. And your pets, even!
This year I got my labels and was particularly pleased with how cute they are.
"Look," I said, to my husband. "Look how cute these are!"
He looked. Scowled.
"You don't like?" I asked.
"It's just," he sighed. "I'm bald."
"Right..." I said, not sure what the problem was.
"I'm bald on these labels," he said, pointing out his face.
No, really?
Because, um, as seen in this evidentiary photo? He's also bald in real life.
So I did what any good, loving, supportive wife would do.
I began to laugh hysterically.
He didn't think it was very funny.
Also? When I said, "Honey. You're BALD. Don't fight the baldness! EMBRACE THE BALDNESS!"
He didn't think that was funny either.
But I? Think bald guys are totally hot.
So I win.

So's mine. Yum.
YEAH!! Bald guys are hot. You'll catch me drooling over random bald men. Ahem.
{drool}
Bald guys are hot. That Mr. Clean guy? Smokin' :)
Dear Jason,
Don't fight the baldness Dude. It totally suits you;).
Chick, I love your sense of humour and the way you handled this. You so rock.
Talking about 'rock'. Do I not rock the party at all? I guess I don't blog enough, huh. Sigh. I'm just not as good a writer (or as disciplined) as you;).
Bwa ha ha ha ha ha
Denial is a lovely, lovely thing. :>
Justin is also having an issue with his newfound baldness.
I think it's hysterical.
I can't say I blame your Jason. I have a similar reaction when I say, "I look fat in that picture." Or, "Look at my cheeks? They're so round!" [blink]
Resistance is futile.
Yep. You win.
"Embrace the baldness"
::giggle::
we made our own bootleg labels. You see them when you get your card from me-- approximately in march.
I just received a christmas card with those labels. I loved it. I am thinking next year that is the way to go instead of repeatedly writing out my address. Over and over. I'm having bad dreams about Christmas cards.
my husband shaves his head....he is a chicano mexican from california...from the back they all look alike...and evidently he thinks he is losing his hair...i wouldn't actually know as he has never had enough hair since i've known him to discern an actual "bald spot"...i think he looks like this chubby mean looking teddybear...i like it
so tell jason shave it really short and embrace the head
and DON'T LAUGH AT THE BABY, CHICK, THE BABY IS DELICATE...and got wii which i can tell you is nearly impossible to actually go to the store and purchase
Tell him Bald guys are IN STYLE --these days!!!! LOVE THOSE BALD GUYS!! :)
As a proud owner of one of your holiday stickers, I think they captured you all perfectly. We get our labels from Family Labels too - be sure to check ours out (your card goes out tomorrow!)
p.s. Bald = Hot. Two words: Patrick.Stewart.
LOL. Embrace the baldness. Good times.
My husband is in deep denial about that his hair is both thinning and retreating from his forehead. Men.
I'm going to have to check out those stickers, they sound great!
Maybe next year, you can make him ten years younger with a full head of hair!
The Big Guy is even more bald than Jason. I LOVE it!
Bald is good!
Vin Diesel, Bruce Willis all smokin hot. I could say something really obsene about bald men but I will keep it clean.
Apparently you don't have mirros in your house?! : ) Poor guy, took a cartoon of him for him to realize he's bald.
I love my hubby's bald head!!
Jason is sexy bald!!
Chris shaves his head most of the time, so I like the baldness too!
He is so cute! ~lol~
I'm with you!
I was bald for Christmas last year.
And my boyfriend. . thought it was totally hot!
That is hilarious. I love little family cartoon characters, especially on labels.
Poor Jason. I'm with everyone else on the Patrick Stewart, bald is good, thing. Tell him not to sweat it!
Waistlines not hairlines .....
And I love those labels.
